Role Overview

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Housekeeper to help keep a long-term care facility clean, safe, and welcoming. This position supports the organization’s commitment to service quality, resident comfort, and a positive community impact.

Compensation

This role starts at USD 11.00 per hour.

Key Duties

• Carry out routine housekeeping work each day, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, shared spaces, and office areas.
• Clean and sanitize spaces according to set procedures and safety standards.
• Keep records of cleaning work and escalate maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Apply infection control practices and universal precautions to maintain a healthy environment.
• Communicate courteously with residents, employees, and visitors while delivering strong customer service.
• Complete any additional tasks assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or an equivalent credential is required.
• Prior housekeeping experience is an advantage, though it is not mandatory.
• A positive attitude and the ability to communicate effectively with occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership are important.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for long periods.
• Comfort with repetitive, routine work performed continuously.
• Must be able to work around cleaning chemicals and products.
• Ability to understand and follow spoken and written instructions, including daily repetitive tasks.
• Residency within the service area is required.
