Job Overview

The Milton Brisbane is expanding its housekeeping team and is seeking casual housekeepers who exhibit meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering excellent guest experiences. This role involves maintaining impeccable cleanliness and efficient task completion while fostering teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

Thoroughly clean guest rooms by making beds accurately, vacuuming floors, and sanitizing bathrooms to ensure a spotless environment.
Efficiently perform cleaning duties within allocated working hours.
Work cooperatively with colleagues to achieve daily cleaning goals and operational targets.
Follow all safety and environmental protocols rigorously.
Utilize specialized cleaning tools and chemicals correctly, with training and equipment provided.
Develop professional and respectful relationships with team members, guests, and contractors to maintain a positive workplace atmosphere.

Shift Details

Flexible rotating schedule covering Monday through Sunday.
Shift start times between 8:00 am and 9:00 am.

Compensation

Weekdays (Monday to Friday): $33.85 per hour (excluding superannuation).
Saturdays: $40.62 per hour.
Sundays: $47.39 per hour.

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is highly valued.
Exceptional attention to detail with a dedication to high standards of cleanliness.
Basic knowledge or willingness to learn safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment; training provided.
Good physical endurance and fitness to carry out repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and extended standing periods.
Effective communication skills for interaction with guests, colleagues, and contractors.
Strong time management abilities and capability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
A proactive, positive attitude with a strong sense of work ethic.
Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays.
