Role Summary and Responsibilities
The Head of Technology role involves overseeing the execution, adoption, and delivery of technology strategies approved by the Chief Technology Officer (CTO). This individual converts strategic guidelines into practical tools, enablement programs, and effective delivery practices across various propositions.
- Drive delivery quality enablement within development and solutions architecture.
- Manage technology and AI enablement in proposition strategy, planning, methodology creation, process and template development, and the decommissioning of propositions.
- Lead employee training and enablement initiatives relating to development and HubSpot solutions architecture.
Key tasks include providing senior operational technology leadership as the extension of the CTO, serving as the technical authority during complex sales and pre-sales activities, and establishing and maintaining a backlog of AI initiatives aligned with CTO directives and organizational objectives. Additionally, this role is responsible for standards, templates, frameworks, and talent enablement and development.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Expertise at a Principal Architect level covering solution and software architecture.
- Extensive knowledge of HubSpot architecture and front-office technologies.
- Strong skills in integration and web technology architecture.
- Familiarity with AI architecture, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), automation, and practical AI implementations.
- Proven experience in senior technical leadership roles.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strategic IT plans.
- Excellent project and budget management competencies.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
