Growth & Community Lead

About the Role

You will be responsible for driving WusuWusu's expansion within Ghana, focusing on acquiring new users, boosting retention, fostering community engagement, and establishing strategic partnerships. Unlike conventional advertising strategies, our growth relies heavily on cultivating a dedicated community of traders passionate about African markets. This role involves collaboration with influencers, sports commentators, financial media professionals, and grassroots groups throughout Accra and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Lead all facets of user growth, retention, and community building in Ghana.
• Develop and manage partnerships with key stakeholders across sports, media, and fintech sectors.
• Engage and collaborate with influencers, sports commentators, and grassroots communities.

Requirements

• Demonstrated success in scaling a consumer-facing product in Ghana or the West African region.
• Established strong networks within Ghanaian sports, media, or fintech landscapes.
• Proficient in managing referral programs, community engagement, and creator collaborations.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and Twi.
• Ability to leverage data analytics tools to inform and drive growth strategies.
