Job description
About the Role
At Dexory, innovation in warehouse automation blends robotics and AI to create a transformative technology experience. As a Graphic Designer on our team, you will shape the visual identity of a rapidly growing tech company. Your designs will be visible across product launches, social media campaigns, events, and even on our robotic systems. This diverse role offers the chance to solve creative challenges while collaborating closely with marketing, product, and commercial teams to produce engaging visuals that resonate with customers.
This position requires you to work onsite in Wallingford at least one day per week, offering a hybrid work dynamic.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop compelling visual concepts from briefs, confidently presenting your creative ideas.
- Design marketing materials for both print and digital platforms, including campaigns, website branding, templates, sales presentations, and event collateral, ensuring consistency with brand standards.
- Create visual identities for new product launches, feature updates, and marketing campaigns.
- Produce on-brand social media, email, and web content to meet the fast-paced demands of a growing business.
- Support branding efforts for robotics and facilities, adapting designs for client sites and preparing print-ready files for operations.
- Contribute to photography and video shoots by offering design direction alongside senior creatives.
- Prepare supplier-ready print artwork and coordinate directly with print and production vendors.
- Identify and propose new creative opportunities while staying informed about current design and marketing trends to keep the brand fresh and relevant.
- Manage projects within budget and deadline constraints, maintaining professional file organization and version control.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A degree or equivalent qualification in graphic design, visual communication, or a similar discipline, or a strong portfolio developed through relevant experience.
- Between 2 to 5 years of design experience with a diverse portfolio across multiple media; mixed agency and in-house work experience is advantageous.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) for both digital and print. Familiarity with Figma and some experience in motion graphics or animation (After Effects) is highly valued.
- Proficient use of AI-assisted design tools as part of a modern workflow, with a clear understanding of their benefits and limitations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of brand systems, applying guidelines consistently and constructively challenging when necessary.
- Strong skills in typography, layout, and basic accessibility principles (color contrast, readability) for print and digital media.
- Excellent communication skills to present concepts effectively and incorporate feedback from diverse stakeholders.
- Commercial awareness regarding the impact of design on brand perception and campaign success, adept at managing budgets and timelines.
Benefits and Company Values
- Private healthcare coverage through Bupa including a 24/7 medical helpline.
- Life insurance and income protection plans.
- Competitive pension scheme: at least 4% employee contribution with a salary exchange option, plus 5% employer contributions.
- Access to the Employee Assistance Programme offering mental health support, financial guidance, and legal assistance.
- 25 annual vacation days.
- Complimentary on-site meals at the Wallingford office.
- Engaging team events and a well-stocked office with snacks.
Our workplace culture is based on four principles: high performance, impactful results, strong commitment, and teamwork. We seek candidates who thrive in ambitious, uncertain environments and want to help shape the future of logistics technology.
