Global Strategic Sourcing - Technology Recruiter (Full-Time, Remote)

This role focuses on sourcing top-tier distribution and operations talent across the US market to support Amazon’s growth and operational excellence.

Role Responsibilities

• Recruit passive talent by evaluating candidate fit, motivation, and alignment rather than only promoting job roles.
• Maintain and expand a network of potential candidates through continuous market research and relationship management.
• Conduct thorough interviews anticipating hiring manager preferences to maintain high offer-to-interview ratios.
• Propose innovative recruitment strategies contributing to Amazon's long-term growth objectives.
• Enhance and implement recruitment processes aligning with Amazon’s goal of delivering top-quality service to internal customers.
• Develop clear plans with timelines, deliverables, and tracking methods.
• Use advanced sourcing techniques (Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, X-ray searches, and more) to identify passive candidates.
• Engage and communicate with candidates to assess suitability and build interest.
• Perform phone and virtual screenings to evaluate qualifications and cultural fit.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of progressive recruiting or research experience in corporate or search firm settings.
• Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 3 years full-time experience at Amazon.
• Proficient in using contact management and applicant tracking systems for sourcing and candidate management.
• Strong ability to gather and analyze market intelligence, especially for competitive talent markets.
• Experience prioritizing, managing multiple searches, and meeting customer service level agreements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to balance urgency and quality in candidate generation within high-volume environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting both high-volume and niche technical hiring.
• Domain knowledge in technical recruiting for roles such as Full-stack, Backend, Frontend engineers, Data Scientists (AI/ML), and Data Engineers.
• Familiarity with programming languages and tech stacks like Python, Java, SQL, ETL processes, data pipelines, Hadoop, Spark, and Big Data technologies.

Working Conditions

Although based primarily in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, or Gurgaon, this position is fully remote and requires availability for shifts from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM IST.

The role is part of the Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) team within Amazon’s World Wide Talent Acquisition. This central team sources exceptional talent across regions including Americas, Europe, AMET, and India, supporting technology, non-technology, and high-volume recruitment efforts.
