Role Overview

The company is in search of a subject matter expert specializing in Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to manage and enhance Binance's visibility and authoritative citations across AI-driven search platforms including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead Binance's footprint and citation authority in AI-generated search results from major large language models (LLMs).
• Develop and upkeep llms.txt files, structured schemas, and knowledge graph cues across different page categories, ensuring adaptations meet regional necessities.
• Establish GEO as an independent acquisition channel by devising measurement systems for impressions, citations, and referral attribution currently lacking existing frameworks.
• Transform insights on AI citation deficiencies into targeted content strategies, integrating GEO workflows within Content, Technology, and Data teams from initial briefs through to deployment.
• Conduct routine prompt testing and citation audits on LLMs to validate performance and detect regressions.
• Assess competitor GEO standpoints such as Coinbase, Kraken, OKX, Bybit, and Crypto.com, converting evaluations into actionable prioritizations of opportunity gaps.
• Analyze detailed logs and query data to discern AI crawler behaviors, citation tendencies, and content structural weaknesses.
• Monitor emerging GEO and AI search trends involving LLM retrieval processes, multimodal search, entity authority, and E-E-A-T principles; translate these developments into strategic guidelines for the SEO team.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of five to six years of practical SEO experience, including advanced technical SEO within enterprise environments.
• In-depth mechanistic understanding of how LLMs retrieve, prioritize, and cite web content, encompassing RAG architectures and retrieval/ranking signals—not limited to simple AI tool usage or prompt familiarity.
• Proven capability to independently define and spearhead a GEO or technical SEO strategy rather than solely executing existing strategies.
• Expertise in structured data, schema markup, entity-based content frameworks, and knowledge graph signals integration.
• Hands-on experience with crawl and indexing operations, log file analytics, and proficiency in Python or SQL to extract large-scale insights.
• Experience developing analytics and attribution frameworks for acquisition channels lacking pre-existing measurement tools.
• Background working in enterprise-scale organizations with cross-functional collaboration among Content, Technology, Data, and Compliance teams, beyond agency or isolated contributor roles.
• Experience in cryptocurrency, fintech, or other compliance-sensitive industries is highly advantageous.
