Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain consistent attendance as it is critical for the role.
- Perform assigned production duties safely and efficiently in designated areas.
- Support teammates by assisting with basic tasks such as material handling and workspace cleanliness.
- Complete additional duties as directed by supervision.
Job Functions by Department
- Soil Operations: Receive, scan, and inspect used garments, then sort into carts for washing and drying.
- Dry Fold: Examine clean items and operate folding and bagging machines or fold by hand.
- Garments: Sort and process garments according to finishing requirements including steam tunnel and ironing.
- Mending: Inspect and repair garments using hand sewing or sewing machines.
- Mat: Roll and store mats with machinery and prepare mat orders for routes.
- Iron Operations: Feed items through ironing machines after inspection.
- Bundling: Count and bundle finished products, then load for distribution.
- Wash Aisle: Operate wash aisle machinery, monitor quality, and follow schedules.
Candidate Qualifications
- Dependability to work assigned shifts and maintain attendance.
- Basic mathematical reasoning skills.
- Physical capability to lift 25-50 pounds repeatedly and assistively push or pull up to 150 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Comfort working in fast-paced, variable temperature environments with machinery and noise while following safety protocols.
- Prior industrial laundry or production experience is preferred.
- Understanding work instructions in English is advantageous.
Compensation
Hourly wages are expected to fall between $21.33 and $22.45, based on individual qualifications, certifications, experience, and market standards.
