Overview

Dawn Meats is seeking dependable and diligent General Operatives to join their production team at the Ballyhaunis facility in County Mayo. This permanent position offers candidates the chance to develop skills and advance their careers within one of Europe's foremost food companies, which supplies to numerous local and international supermarkets, food service providers, and manufacturers, exporting to over 50 countries worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate as a team member on a fast-paced production line, packing meat cuts and trims to meet customer specifications and daily/weekly production goals.
• Support the production area efforts and assist the production team wherever needed.
• Operate across multiple areas within the factory to maintain flexibility and coverage.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards throughout the facility to ensure a clean and safe workplace.
• Continuously update product knowledge and attend training relevant to your role.
• Adhere strictly to work instructions and Health & Safety guidelines in all tasks performed.
• Record data accurately and keep documentation up to date as required.
• Follow quality assurance protocols to meet company and customer standards.
• Work flexibly, including varying hours as needed, to meet production deadlines.
