Role Overview

This position involves cleaning and preparing rotating equipment parts, supporting workshop operations, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and environmental compliance.

Key Duties

• Clean rotating equipment parts, including aeroderivative gas turbines, pumps, compressors, and steam turbines.
• Process components using different chemical tanks.
• Carry out grit blasting and vapour blasting on parts.
• Perform manual cleaning of a range of components.
• Operate the ball burnishing machine.
• Support improvements to quality standards across the department.
• Take responsibility for personal safety and help protect the safety of others.
• Handle any other duties related to the role as reasonably assigned by the company.

Requirements

No formal qualification is necessary, as complete training will be provided. Candidates with prior experience in a clean line or workshop setting will be preferred. Applicants should be able to understand technical instructions, work well as part of a team, and remain comfortable working independently when required.
