About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Apparel Buying Merchandiser based in South Delhi with a minimum of four years of experience specializing in high-end fashion and luxury party wear. The role entails managing the merchandising operations comprehensively at a buying house, requiring expert insight into trends, supplier relations, and product assortment management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete merchandising cycle from selecting products through to delivery, ensuring products meet market demand and align with customer expectations.
• Develop and sustain productive relationships with suppliers and manufacturers, negotiating favorable terms and maintaining stringent quality control.
• Analyze current market trends and research to pinpoint new product potential and refine current collections.
• Administer inventory levels and monitor sales data, advising on reorders and discounted offerings when necessary.
• Collaborate effectively with design, production, and sales divisions to ensure consistent and market-aligned product presentations.
• Compile and deliver detailed reports covering sales trends, stock status, and market insights to senior management.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• At least four years of apparel merchandising experience, particularly within a buying house setting.
• In-depth knowledge of high-end fashion and luxury party wear markets.
• Proficiency in merchandising software tools and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication capabilities.
