FX & Commodity Hedging Solutions – Business Analyst

Role Overview

This position involves supporting the growth and development of FX and Commodity Hedging solutions within Qatar and relevant international markets by evaluating business opportunities, specifying requirements, and facilitating the deployment of new products, trading platforms, and client-focused solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze market trends, client demands, and product usage to identify business opportunities.
• Support the development of business cases for new hedging products and platform improvements.
• Evaluate competitive market positioning and identify gaps for product enhancements.
• Collect and document detailed business requirements for FX and Commodity hedging solutions and platform upgrades.
• Assist in implementing new hedging capabilities and defining optimal operating models and client experiences.
• Contribute to integration and improvement of treasury and trading platforms, focusing on optimizing workflow from front to back office.
• Identify potential areas for process automation and digital innovation.
• Collaborate with teams across Global Markets, Treasury, Risk, Operations, Technology, and Client Coverage to coordinate efforts.
• Organize workshops and gather requirements from stakeholders to support transformation initiatives.
• Create dashboards and reports to monitor product adoption, revenue growth, and client engagement supporting strategic decisions.

Required Experience & Profile

• A minimum of 7 to 10 years in Treasury, Global Markets, Business Analysis, Product Management, or Banking Transformation roles.
• Preferably involved with FX, Commodity, Treasury, or Derivatives projects.
• Familiarity with trading platforms and capital markets products is advantageous.
• Strong expertise in FX, Commodity, and derivative products, including hedging lifecycles and treasury operations.
• Proven skills in gathering business requirements, mapping processes, and implementing financial products.
• Ability to effectively manage stakeholders and perform detailed analytics.
• Comfortable working across multiple market and business domains.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Applicants should be based in Qatar. Fluency in both Arabic and English is preferred.
