Role Details

As a Mobile Speed Camera Operator, you will operate independently from an enforcement vehicle connected to a control center. The role involves physical activity, with variable hours including early mornings, late nights, and weekend shifts. You will conduct risk assessments and take site photographs before sessions, coordinate with the control room for camera alignment and testing, and receive training on managing hostile or aggressive situations.

Work Schedule

This position requires flexibility to work a rotating 24/7 roster covering weekdays, nights, and weekends, including shifts lasting 10 to 12 hours. Operators often travel long distances to various locations, including regional and remote sites.

Compensation

• Trainee Operators earn $29.10 per hour for standard hours.
• Penalty rates apply: $34.92/hr for night shifts and Saturdays, $43.66/hr for Sundays.
• Post-training pay rates increase beyond trainee levels.
