Role Overview
This role sits within Amazon’s fast-moving recruiting function and supports hiring for the Operations vertical in India. The recruiter will help meet critical hiring needs, partner with business leaders on short- and long-term workforce planning, and design sourcing approaches for both high-volume hiring and specialized roles. A strong focus on candidate experience, stakeholder management, and creative problem-solving is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and run recruitment plans that align with hiring targets.
- Handle candidate administration, including updating applicant records, offer activity, job descriptions, and role postings across recruiting systems and job boards.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of candidates to support future hiring needs.
- Work closely with staffing agencies and manage those partnerships effectively.
- Plan and coordinate hiring events, assessments, and interview processes.
- Screen applications to confirm alignment with role criteria.
- Act as the point of contact for candidates and share assessment and interview details.
- Coordinate background verification for selected candidates.
- Collect candidate documents and pass them to the onboarding team.
- Meet hiring managers regularly to review recruiting progress and improve execution.
- Advise employees and stakeholders on recruitment and talent acquisition matters.
- Use hiring metrics to identify improvements and refine processes.
- Analyze recruitment data and report key metrics to business leaders.
- Take on additional special projects as needed.
Candidate Profile
The right candidate should be comfortable in a high-volume hiring environment, communicate clearly, adapt quickly, and manage relationships with both internal teams and external candidates. Experience in HVH recruiting will be an added advantage.
Basic Qualifications
- At least 1 year of human resources experience, or a bachelor’s degree.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in both large-scale hiring and corporate recruitment.
- Experience using recruiting systems and tools such as resume databases, online sourcing tools, and spreadsheets.
