Currently, Mindrift invites versatile graphic designers to contribute to the Tendem project, an innovative hybrid AI plus human system geared toward specialized data scraping workflows.

Role Overview

This freelance, part-time, remote position requires a creative designer experienced in visual communications, layout, and marketing collateral development. The role involves working alongside Tendem Agents who manage repetitive tasks, while the designer provides critical thinking, domain knowledge, and refined formatting skills to convert raw inputs into professionally finished artwork.

Key Responsibilities

Produce clear, clean layouts and modern infographics prioritizing logical visual hierarchy for readability and engagement.
Create reusable and attractive templates suited for social media platforms and impactful one-page marketing sheets.
Enhance everyday design materials through expert use of typography, grid systems, and thoughtful compositions.
Convert base data and ideas into polished, tailored visual content aligned with marketing and communication objectives.
Maintain high design quality by systematically checking visual alignment, color accuracy, and layout consistency before final delivery.

Project Details and Application Instructions

This freelance engagement is project-based, with task availability varying according to active projects. Contributors may be invited to participate in multiple projects based on their skillset and current needs. Applicants must submit their CV written in English and include a portfolio link showcasing past graphic design work; applications lacking a portfolio will not be considered.

Expected Workload and Compensation

During active project periods, anticipated involvement ranges between 10 to 20 hours per week, subject to project requirements. This is an estimated range, not a guaranteed minimum. Compensation can reach up to $40 per hour equivalent depending on expertise and productivity. Rates differ depending on project complexity and scope.

Required Qualifications and Skills

1 to 2 years of relevant experience in graphic, digital design, or visual communications preferred.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or similar fields is advantageous.
Advanced understanding of typography, grid structures, and layout composition for delivering polished design materials.
Demonstrated ability in creating effective visual assets such as infographics and social media templates.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma is essential.
Versatility in producing impactful one-pagers as well as engaging digital template designs across different formats.
Strong English communication skills at upper-intermediate level (B2) or higher.
Detail-oriented, adaptable, self-motivated with excellent time management to juggle multiple design tasks.
Portfolio link inclusion is mandatory for application consideration, as is evidence of relevant graphic design projects.
