Role Overview

The Franchise Planner is pivotal in managing inventory efficiency, sales success, and commercial strategy for SKIMS' worldwide franchise partners. This position requires close collaboration with Franchise Sales, Merchandising, Product, Supply Chain, and external franchise partners to ensure optimal product availability in key international markets at the right time.

Responsibilities

  • Create seasonal and yearly merchandise financial strategies for global franchise partners.
  • Generate detailed demand forecasts segmented by market, partner, product category, and sales channel.
  • Evaluate sales metrics, inventory levels, weeks of supply, sell-through rates, and profit margins to enhance overall profitability.
  • Collaborate with Franchise Sales and Merchandising to design pre-season assortment and inventory approaches.
  • Monitor ongoing business results during selling seasons, identify risks and growth prospects, and propose optimization measures.
  • Work alongside Supply Chain and Logistics teams to assure timely inventory distribution across franchise markets.
  • Manage inventory spending to meet sales, margin, and productivity objectives.
  • Support seasonal purchasing, restocking plans, and end-of-season inventory strategies.
  • Prepare comprehensive weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reports for internal leadership and franchise partners.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators and market trends.
  • Coordinate with Finance on forecasting, budgeting, and inventory planning activities.
  • Leverage consumer insights, market trends, and past data to provide strategic commercial recommendations.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product Development, Planning, Merchandising, Operations, and Regional teams to promote global expansion initiatives.

Qualifications and Expertise

  • Demonstrated 3 to 6+ years of experience in merchandise or inventory planning, preferably within retail, wholesale, or franchise environments.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial models.
