Role Overview
We are creating a pioneering AI-native and mobile-driven original science fiction universe, fusing inspiration from iconic titles like Star Wars, Mad Max, and Rick and Morty with the daring edge of brands such as MSCHF, Balenciaga, and Gentle Monster. This universe is designed for social, entertainment, and emerging media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish the creative vision for a unique sci-fi universe adaptable across multiple media formats.
- Develop rich worlds, compelling characters, deep mythology, intricate storylines, and innovative narrative frameworks.
- Design original formats native to social platforms that could evolve into enduring cultural trends, taking into account elements like engagement hooks, influencer dynamics, user participation, algorithms, comments, memes, and online cultural movements.
- Actively write, create, experiment, and build new content rather than simply supervising or directing others.
- Push the boundaries of AI use in storytelling by mastering AI models, prompt engineering, workflows, and related creative tools.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate may come from diverse creative backgrounds such as advertising, film, social content, gaming, or creative technology, or a unique blend of these fields. They must be able to seamlessly navigate between crafting expansive ten-year mythologies and creating engaging short-form videos lasting mere seconds. We envision someone who embodies the term "spacecadet"—part dreamer out of sync with the status quo, part highly trained and ready innovator.
