Sola is building the next generation of digital work through AI agents that can record a workflow and expand it into millions of automated executions. The company’s platform is already used for enterprise workflows at Fortune 100 companies and is designed to work across industries such as healthcare, finance, legal, logistics, and others. Backed by $21M from a16z, Conviction (Sarah Guo), and Y Combinator, Sola is looking for a strong builder to help push the product and company forward.

Role overview

This is Sola’s first dedicated product position. The role sits at the intersection of product strategy, user experience, and technical execution, with close partnership from the CEO and Head of Engineering. The team is aiming to make enterprise AI automation feel as polished and intuitive as top consumer and creative software, while still being dependable in real-world enterprise settings.

What you will own

• Help define product strategy and shape the roadmap with the CEO, design, and engineering teams, balancing immediate customer needs with the longer-term direction of the platform.
• Take features from idea to launch by writing requirements, producing clear specifications, aligning stakeholders, and keeping design, engineering, and go-to-market teams coordinated.
• Spend significant time with users, understanding their pain points and translating those insights into the most valuable next product decisions.
• Partner directly with the founders to help establish how product work is done as the company scales.
• Work on product decisions around AI execution, including where automation should operate independently, where human review is needed, and how to make non-deterministic systems reliable at scale.
• Design experiences that make complex enterprise workflows understandable, collaborative, and trustworthy for non-technical users.

What they are looking for

• Strong product instincts with a refined sense for design and a high standard for simple, elegant user experiences.
• Comfort working deeply in a technical product area and collaborating with engineers as an informed peer.
• A concise communicator who can bring order to ambiguous situations and explain tradeoffs clearly to different audiences.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI tools, including the ability to prototype and reason about model capabilities when making product choices.
• Willingness to work onsite five days a week from the NYC office.

Compensation and benefits

Sola offers a competitive salary along with meaningful equity at the Series A stage. Pay will depend on experience and seniority. The benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, daily office meals, flexible PTO of four weeks per year, and relocation support for candidates not already in New York City.
