Programme Overview

This is an exclusive six-week residency targeting Muslim founders who have already launched products with active users or early revenue. While it is not salaried employment, the residency offers extensive support to accelerate go-to-market efforts and investor connections.

Purpose and Eligibility

The residency operates under positive action provisions of the Equality Act 2010 (Section 158) to counteract the underrepresentation of Muslim founders within UK venture capital. It is designed for Muslim entrepreneurs building ventures in the UK, Europe, or North America who are ready to fully engage in a six-week residential programme based in London.

Residency Experience and Benefits

• Live in a London house with nine other founders for the full duration.
• Develop a detailed list of 100 target accounts and 30 ideal buyers within the first week.
• Construct a dynamic sales pipeline by arranging buyer meetings during the programme.
• All residency expenses covered, including travel, accommodation, meals, and production costs.
• Access to mentors who live in the residence, plus visits from experienced operators and angel investors, including weekly angel dinners.
• Potential for capital investment ranging from £20,000 to £100,000, tailored according to the stage of your company.
• Participate in a London demo day presenting to investors and buyers who witness your progress.
• Earn a personal narrative arc throughout the residency and join the lifelong Saff alumni network.

Candidate Profile

• Have already developed and shipped a product with real users or initial revenue; mere concepts will not qualify.
• Dedicate yourself to the full six-week residency by living and building in London during this time.
• Be a Muslim founder operating in the UK, Europe, or North America, whether solo or in a team.
• Know your market well enough to identify the top five customers critical to your company's success; the programme assists in engaging these buyers.
