Role Overview

Are you passionate about fixed income markets and thrive in a dynamic environment? This role offers diverse responsibilities in executing fixed income trades for SMA and brokerage accounts on an agency basis, spanning multiple fixed income products within an open architecture framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute trades across a variety of fixed income products including corporate, agency, mortgage-backed, commercial paper, discount notes, and US government securities.
• Utilize third-party execution platforms proficiently.
• Leverage trading relationships and electronic trading platforms to ensure best execution obligations are met.
• Stay informed proactively on market trends and identify trading opportunities.
• Address operational challenges and coordinate with operations teams for resolution.
• Collaborate closely with fixed income sales teams to enhance client engagement and trading volume.
• Receive training to execute foreign exchange trades in addition to fixed income products.
• Maintain strict compliance with all relevant regulations, internal protocols, and compliance standards.

Team Environment

As a member of the Unified Global Markets' Execution Hub Group in New York, you will work onsite five days a week, executing taxable fixed income transactions for Advisory and Ultra High Net Worth clients on an agency basis, with trade sizes ranging typically from $1 million to $500 million.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of three years' experience in fixed income markets.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Bloomberg Terminal usage.
• Comprehensive understanding of financial markets, instruments, and trading strategies.
• Strong sense of responsibility paired with effective interpersonal capabilities.
• Holds active Series 7 and either 63, 65 or 66 licenses.
• Demonstrates curiosity and sound judgment in applying artificial intelligence technologies to optimize workflows, while ensuring alignment with policy and ethical standards.

Compensation and Benefits

• Indicative base salary range for this New York-based full-time position is USD 137,500 to USD 160,000 per annum.
• Actual salary depends on experience, qualifications, education, skills, and local market factors.
