Overview
A leading private investment group is searching for a Finance Director to spearhead the institutionalization and financial management of its diversified portfolio. This pivotal leadership position demands an investment-grade financial expert adept at handling a blend of Real Estate transactions alongside the operational supervision of rapidly growing subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial aspects of Real Estate deals including capital structuring, oversight of Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), and conducting financial due diligence for major acquisitions and developments.
- Champion the upgrade of the finance function to meet international institutional standards by directing IFRS remediation, unifying group-wide financial reporting practices, and enforcing consistent monthly financial closing processes.
- Manage the financial performance and valuation of a multi-sector portfolio by providing the Board with in-depth analysis of Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Net Present Value (NPV), and capital allocation efficiency.
- Oversee relationships with regional banks to arrange project financing, lead debt origination efforts, and coordinate liquidity management across the group.
- Offer strategic financial leadership across the group’s international operations, focusing on optimizing working capital and embedding rigorous financial governance.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of 12 years in senior finance leadership roles, preferably within Investment Firms, Holding Companies, Private Equity, or Real Estate Investment entities.
- Extensive experience in structuring and executing sizable Real Estate investment transactions.
- Proven ability to transform finance departments into professional, institutionally governed units within private or family-controlled companies.
- Native-level proficiency in Arabic is essential, including capacity to lead board discussions and technical negotiations in both Arabic and English fluently.
- Must hold a professional finance certification such as CA, CPA, or CFA.
