Fashion Assistant

Role Overview

We are in search of a highly organized, proactive, and meticulous Fashion Design & Production Assistant to manage daily workshop operations. The successful candidate will act as the key liaison between artisans, tailors, embroiderers, and suppliers to maintain seamless production flow, uphold quality standards, and ensure timely completion and delivery of client orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage production activities and schedules within the workshop.
• Oversee team workflow and coordinate efforts of workshop employees.
• Conduct quality checks to maintain garment standards.
• Facilitate client order tracking and ensure on-time delivery.
• Handle inventory control and manage raw materials for production.
• Liaise with vendors to ensure procurement aligns with production needs.
• Prepare and maintain documentation such as production trackers and order status reports.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong knowledge of garment construction and couture manufacturing techniques.
• Familiarity with fabrics, embroidery methods, and garment finishing processes.
• Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
• Effective communication and coordination skills to manage diverse teams.
• Strong attention to detail and a steadfast commitment to quality.
• Educational background: Degree or Diploma in Fashion Design, Fashion Technology, or Apparel Production.
• Professional experience in a fashion house, luxury couture brand, or garment manufacture unit.
• Preferred experience in managing workshop teams and adhering to production schedules.

Compensation

The position offers a monthly salary ranging from 18000 to 27000 INR.
