Facilities Management Specialist

Role Purpose

The Facilities Specialist is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a facility, ensuring smooth performance through diligent site inspections, meticulous documentation management, and effective coordination between Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) teams and various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections and walkthroughs to identify any operational issues.
• Monitor the progress of both planned preventive maintenance and urgent reactive maintenance tasks.
• Ensure the Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) system is consistently updated with the current status of all work orders.
• Maintain the accuracy of the asset register and all related facility documentation.
• Provide essential support to IFM supervisors and external contractors, facilitating day-to-day site coordination.
• Generate comprehensive reports and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other performance metrics.
• Assist in managing emergency response procedures and documenting any incidents that occur.

  Qualifications & Experience

  • Possess a diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field like Facilities Management.
  • Have 1 to 2 years of professional experience in Facilities Management or building operations.
  • Demonstrate a foundational understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
  • Exhibit strong skills in coordination and organization.
