Role Overview

We invite innovative and dedicated individuals to join our Facilities (Gas & Chemical) Department as an Engineer. The role involves providing essential support for gas and chemical distribution systems to maintain uninterrupted supply and system performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous operation and supply of gas and chemical utilities by supporting related facilities at required performance standards.
• Develop, implement, assess, and enhance preventive and predictive maintenance programs for assigned systems to sustain optimal functionality.
• Conduct repairs and troubleshooting to promptly restore system operations. Perform root cause analyses and establish corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
• Design and maintain effective reporting and tracking tools to monitor system performance and capacity, recommending and executing improvement projects as needed.
• Formulate and revise operating procedures to guarantee efficient system operation.
• Monitor utility consumption and collaborate with users to initiate projects aimed at reducing usage.
• Stay updated and ensure compliance with relevant standards, laws, and codes of practice.
• Provide guidance and training to colleagues on system operations to build knowledge and ensure backup capabilities.
• Maintain accurate documentation including plant histories, drawings, and data for future reference and review.
• Assess and recommend suitable spares, consumables, and resources required for daily operation.
• Oversee and supervise projects related to system improvements.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Have 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or petrochemical industries with practical experience in system operation and maintenance.
• For senior engineer roles, possess in-depth expertise in gas and chemical distribution systems and the ability to lead improvement projects.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork, responsibility, and a positive attitude towards learning.
