Fabric Store Incharge

Overview

Montu Shallu Knitwears, based in Ludhiana, Punjab, is seeking a Fabric Store Incharge to manage and oversee fabric receipt, storage, and inventory processes efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities

• Verify incoming fabric deliveries strictly according to Purchase Orders.
• Keep detailed logs of fabric received, issued, and remaining stock.
• Accurately record all fabric transactions within the internal system.
• Regularly monitor fabric stock levels and maintain precise inventory documentation.
• Ensure the neat storage and proper organization of all fabric materials.
• Track fabric usage and remaining quantities to maintain balanced stock.
• Timely submission of fabric billing and all relevant paperwork.
• Liaise effectively with the Purchase and Production teams to meet fabric requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Solid understanding of different fabrics and fabric handling procedures.
• Mandatory expertise in shade control techniques.
• Proven ability to efficiently manage fabric inventory systems.
• Proficient computer skills, particularly with MS Excel and inventory entry software.
• Preference given to candidates with experience working in fabric stores within the garment industry.

Compensation

The position offers a monthly salary in the range of 20,000 to 26,000 INR.
