Role overview
MoonPay is hiring an Events & Marketing Manager to bring the brand to life through sponsorships, activations, and partner experiences. The role supports high-visibility moments across crypto, culture, sports, and entertainment, including major conferences, branded experiences, and partnerships such as X Games.
Working within the Communications team, you will collaborate closely with Design, Social, Finance, and Legal, while also coordinating with vendors, agencies, partners, and event organisers. Success in this position requires creative thinking, strong delivery discipline, and a hands-on approach during live events.
Responsibilities
- Help plan and execute sponsorships, branded activations, and events, from large crypto conferences to MoonPay partnerships and custom partner experiences
- Contribute ideas for creative concepts and event experiences that feel original, culturally relevant, and memorable
- Create and maintain project plans, timelines, run-of-show documents, and briefing packs to keep activations on track
- Support guest list coordination, staffing plans, and on-site delivery to ensure a smooth experience for attendees, partners, and internal teams
- Monitor sponsorship obligations and help make sure all contractual deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule
- Work with Finance and Legal on sponsorship contracts, purchase orders, and invoice processing
- Assist with producing branded merchandise, printed items, and event collateral by coordinating with vendors, designers, and internal teams
- Partner with Design, Communications, Social, Finance, and Legal to keep campaigns and activations running smoothly
- Prepare post-event summaries, reporting, and budget reconciliations, including learnings and insights from each activation
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in events marketing, brand partnerships, sponsorships, or experiential marketing, ideally in crypto, technology, sports, or entertainment
- Strong project management ability with the capacity to handle several workstreams at once while staying highly organised and detail-oriented
- Practical experience working with external vendors, agencies, venues, and event partners to deliver events successfully
- Background working with creative teams, including writing briefs, reviewing creative assets and proofs, and supporting merchandise and print production
- A proactive, resourceful, hands-on approach suited to fast-moving environments
- Comfort collaborating across global teams and time zones, with willingness to travel for events and activations when needed
- Nice to have: experience in sports marketing or partnerships involving sports properties, talent, athletes, or entertainment brands
- Nice to have: experience running activations across multiple markets and adapting brand experiences and content for different audiences and cultural settings
