Role Overview
The Event Marketing Manager will be instrumental in propelling strategic expansion through impactful events and partner marketing efforts. Reporting directly to the North America Marketing Lead, this position involves overseeing the entire event lifecycle from ideation to execution while collaborating across sales, accounts, and creative teams. Moreover, the role includes fostering and strengthening partnerships within the Shopify ecosystem via joint marketing activities focused on lead generation, brand growth, and sales enablement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee global event planning, coordination, and execution for Domaine-hosted occasions.
- Handle all event logistics including venue selection, vendor management, invitations, RSVP tracking, and post-event communications.
- Work collaboratively with marketing, accounts, sales, and design to promote events through targeted email blasts, social media, and dedicated landing pages.
- Ensure all events reflect Domaine’s sophisticated, luxury brand image and provide outstanding guest experiences.
- Travel as needed to support event setup, on-site management, and teardown.
- Develop and implement co-branded campaigns and materials with key partners, linking events both virtual and in-person.
- Create joint marketing assets such as case studies, webinars, and email campaigns with partners.
- Align partner marketing output with overall business strategies and lead generation targets.
- Measure and analyze partner marketing activities for performance insights and improvements.
- Maintain and optimize CRM (HubSpot) for tracking event and partner engagement, leads, and marketing metrics.
- Partner with sales to guarantee efficient follow-up on leads generated from events or partnerships.
- Oversee event and partner marketing budgets to ensure efficiency without compromising quality.
- Track event results through reports and dashboards, applying insights to enhance future performance.
- Ensure sales opportunities and partner qualified leads are properly recorded in HubSpot.
- Explore automation and process enhancements including AI tools to increase event management efficiency.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in event management, marketing, or a related discipline.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities.
- Experience within the Shopify ecosystem or ecommerce industry is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with HubSpot or similar CRM/marketing automation platforms.
- Creative approach with acute attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Sanity, Figma, and AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude is preferred.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is CAD 85,000 to CAD 100,000 annually.
