Role Overview

The Entertainment & Media Coordinator will foster a high-performance culture focused on outstanding customer experiences within the entertainment and media categories. This role supports store management in achieving business targets and maintaining compliance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales and profitability targets for the store.
• Ensure all Media & Entertainment activities comply with relevant legislation and safety standards, including process adherence and incident reporting.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance instore and online customer experiences.
• Maintain accurate pricing integrity within the Media & Entertainment department.
• Provide cross-training and ongoing support to sales staff about media and entertainment products and services.
• Manage sales activities in line with compliance requirements such as the Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA).
• Contribute to the store’s financial health through effective inventory management, loss prevention, and controlling expenses.
• Support the Store Management team in daily operational tasks when needed.
• Engage in continuous learning through available online resources and other training opportunities.
• Stay updated on industry trends and market changes within entertainment and media.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to advance the role and present improvement suggestions to management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of two years’ experience in retail operations.
• Proven ability to oversee or coordinate team activities effectively.
