Education Solutions Engineer MENA (Arabic)

Overview

The Google for Education Solutions Engineering team leads technology integration and innovation across educational institutions including schools and universities. This role focuses on developing and executing technical go-to-market strategies for Google for Education, particularly in adopting emerging technologies like Gemini AI. The position involves acting as a trusted technical advisor to key academic institutions and collaborating across teams to enhance Google’s educational solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Analyze customer academic and business requirements to design integrated solutions incorporating Gemini AI into existing infrastructure.
• Serve as a technical ambassador for Gemini by demonstrating its capabilities in customer sessions, workshops, and public forums.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to relay customer feedback, shape product development, and monitor industry trends.
• Create and deliver persuasive Gemini demonstrations and address technical inquiries throughout the sales and adoption phases.
• Manage technical solution aspects including responding to bids, conducting solution briefings, training partners, facilitating proof-of-concept projects, and coordinating technical resources.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 8 years in technical sales, sales engineering, education technology, or related fields.
• Familiarity with SaaS, cloud infrastructure, and web technologies.
• Fluency in Arabic to effectively engage Arabic-speaking stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in sales engineering or technical consultancy roles.
• Exposure to AI/ML technologies and their educational applications.
• Experience supporting technology adoption and managing change initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Higher Education and K-12 IT infrastructure including identity management and single sign-on (SSO).
• In-depth understanding of Google for Education tools and solutions.
