About the Role

Acro HR Solutions, a global leader in staffing and human capital management, is hiring a skilled Duck Creek Billing Developer for our offices in Gurgaon, Noida, Bangalore, or Pune to join on a full-time basis. This opportunity involves working in a hybrid environment. We are looking for a candidate to design, customize, and support Duck Creek Billing solutions tailored for Property & Casualty insurance clients, emphasizing strong configuration and integration expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Customize and configure Duck Creek Billing modules to align with business demands.
• Develop and maintain Duck Creek Author scripts, business rules, user interfaces, and workflow processes.
• Implement comprehensive billing functionalities such as billing plans, payment schedules, invoicing, collections, commissions, and payment processing.
• Design and develop integrations linking Policy Administration, Claims, CRM systems, and external third-party applications.
• Create and consume RESTful and SOAP web services and APIs.
• Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and manage database objects efficiently.
• Conduct code reviews, unit tests, rectify defects, and provide production-level support.
• Engage in requirement analysis, solution design, and technical documentation preparation.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, quality assurance teams, architects, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Support deployment and release management activities for Duck Creek OnDemand (DCOD).
• Adhere to Agile and Scrum methodologies for development.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 5 years of Duck Creek Billing development expertise.
• In-depth knowledge of Duck Creek Billing, Authoring tools, and Manuscripts.
• Proficiency in Duck Creek Rules Engine and configuration techniques.
• Experience within the Property & Casualty insurance sector.
• Strong programming skills in C#, .NET, ASP.NET, alongside SQL Server database proficiency.
• Hands-on experience with XML technologies, XSLT, JSON, and web services.
• Solid understanding of the billing life cycle and insurance operational processes.
• Experience interfacing with REST APIs and system integrations.
• Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, and continuous integration/deployment workflows.
• Excellent analytical thinking and communication capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Duck Creek OnDemand (DCOD) platform.
• Knowledge of Policy, Billing, and Claims modules within Duck Creek.
• Exposure to cloud environments, especially Microsoft Azure.
• Any Duck Creek certifications are advantageous.
