About the Company
Terracotta is an outsourcing firm providing recruitment, Employer of Record (EOR), manpower supply, and corporate services support throughout the UAE.
Role Overview
The company is hiring a meticulous and well-organized Document Controller to help manage records, keep documentation orderly, and support internal teams with day-to-day document handling. This role is a strong fit for someone who is starting out or building experience in document control and administration.
Working Arrangement
This is a full-time, on-site position. The schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Sort, store, and maintain company documents in digital and paper formats.
- Receive incoming files, record them, circulate them to the relevant people, and archive them as per company process.
- Keep document versions current and ensure updates are properly controlled.
- Maintain registers and tracking sheets for document movement and status.
- Support teams by locating and retrieving documents when needed.
- Safeguard confidential and sensitive information at all times.
- Carry out routine checks to confirm documents are complete and accurate.
- Help prepare reports and handle other administrative duties as assigned.
- Work with internal stakeholders to make sure documents are submitted and approved on time.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in administration or document control.
- Strong organization skills and a sharp eye for detail.
- Clear written and spoken English communication.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Prior use of document management platforms such as SharePoint is preferred.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and work within deadlines.
- Open to learning and comfortable in a busy, fast-moving setting.
