About the Role
Benefit Cosmetics is seeking a Director of Talent & Organizational Development to lead and innovate how the company attracts, nurtures, and engages talent globally. This pivotal position integrates talent acquisition, development, learning, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, leadership growth, and performance enablement into a unified function aimed at empowering both employees and the business to flourish.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead comprehensive talent and organizational development strategies aligned with business objectives and long-term growth plans.
- Manage talent acquisition efforts, workforce planning initiatives, enhance candidate experience, and promote employer branding to draw in top talent.
- Oversee processes such as talent reviews, succession planning, development roadmaps, leadership pipeline cultivation, and acceleration of high-potential individuals.
- Create and implement contemporary learning and leadership development programs to enhance managerial skills, organizational capability, culture, and overall performance.
- Collaborate with leadership to assess organizational challenges and optimize team effectiveness, role definitions, operating models, and work methodologies.
- Utilize recruiting, talent, learning, engagement, workforce, and organizational data to derive insights for impact assessment and strategic decision-making.
- Lead and mentor teams responsible for talent acquisition, development, learning, and organizational programs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in areas including talent acquisition, talent management, organizational development, effectiveness, leadership and learning development, HR strategy, or related fields.
- At least 7 years of leadership experience involving coaching, staff development, performance management, and leading teams through change.
- Proven expertise in advancing talent acquisition strategies, workforce planning, succession planning, talent reviews, leadership development, learning programs, and organizational effectiveness.
- Capability to design scalable, practical, inclusive enterprise-wide frameworks, programs, tools, and processes aligned with business goals.
- Preferred Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Psychology, Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
Additional Information
- Onsite attendance at Benefit HQ in San Francisco is required three days a week.
- The salary range for this role is between $150,000 and $220,000 annually, dependent on market location and relevant factors such as experience and certifications.
- Eligible for an annual bonus.
