Job Overview
The Direct Sales Agent (DSA) Manager will lead and inspire a team of DSAs to meet and exceed sales goals while enhancing customer acquisition and satisfaction in assigned regions. This role centers on expanding market presence, boosting product adoption, and ensuring superior sales execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to meet periodic sales objectives including monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of Direct Sales Agents throughout designated areas.
- Supervise daily sales activities, providing coaching and performance improvement feedback.
- Identify new business opportunities and spearhead initiatives to increase customer base.
- Ensure uniform application of sales campaigns and promotional efforts.
- Recruit, onboard, and provide comprehensive training to new DSAs.
- Conduct regular field visits to mentor and support sales teams.
- Establish individual goals and review performance consistently.
- Promote an energetic, customer-centric sales culture.
- Address performance issues via targeted coaching and development plans.
- Forge strong relationships with local entities including communities, businesses, NGOs, and strategic partners.
- Identify promising markets and formulate expansion tactics.
- Gather market insights on competitors, customer preferences, and pricing.
- Recommend strategic improvements for market penetration and sales efficiency.
- Track sales pipeline and conversion metrics closely.
- Accurately report daily and weekly sales activities.
- Ensure thorough documentation of customer and sales records.
- Coordinate with logistics and operations to guarantee timely delivery of products.
- Support inventory management aligned with sales forecasting.
- Deliver outstanding pre-sale and after-sale customer support.
- Resolve customer grievances promptly and professionally.
- Enhance customer satisfaction and encourage client referrals.
- Prepare detailed weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Analyze key sales performance indicators to suggest corrective measures.
- Present sales forecasts and performance summaries to senior management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 to 4 years of sales experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
- Experience managing field sales teams or Direct Sales Agents is preferred.
- Background in solar energy, consumer durable goods, fintech, microfinance, telecommunications, or FMCG is advantageous.
