Role Overview
This part-time, on-site Digital Project Manager position is located in the Greater Sydney Area and entails approximately 20 hours per week spread across five half-days. The role serves as parental leave cover lasting about 10 months. It involves overseeing all aspects of digital project management, including planning, coordination, and delivery to ensure projects adhere to their scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.
Daily tasks include managing project workflows, facilitating communication among internal teams and clients, maintaining accurate project documentation, and monitoring progress related to key milestones. Working closely with strategy, design, development, and marketing teams, the manager ensures alignment of project outputs with user experience best practices. Additional responsibilities encompass identifying potential risks, addressing issues promptly, and refining processes to enhance project delivery success.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in digital project management, encompassing planning, scheduling, and coordinating across diverse teams.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, partners, and clients and provide clear project updates.
- Familiarity with digital marketing and content management systems to ensure project deliverables meet platform requirements.
- Competence in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Harvest alongside basic knowledge of web technologies, user experience, and SEO principles.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities focused on maintaining detail-oriented quality and optimizing user experience.
- Experience in a digital agency or technology-driven setting is highly desirable.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in project management, digital media, marketing, IT, or a related area, or equivalent professional experience.
