Their product range spans from 12-volt TVs designed for caravans and boats to large 75-inch home screens and the innovative Voyager line featuring built-in 5G routers. The company also produces a growing lineup of small domestic appliances. Cello sells its products across the UK and European markets through their Shopify website, major retailers like Tesco, Argos, and Richer Sounds, as well as European online marketplaces including OTTO and Kaufland. Role Summary
The Digital Marketing & Ecommerce Coordinator will work closely with the Marketing Director to support ecommerce operations, marketplace management, social media initiatives, and general marketing administration. This role ensures all online channels are maintained efficiently, product listings are accurate, content distribution is timely, and no detail is overlooked. Both recent graduates and experienced candidates are welcome, provided they are tech-savvy, eager learners, and willing to actively engage in their tasks. Training on the company's platforms is included.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update product pages on Shopify to ensure listings are live, accurate, and optimized.
- Manage product data across multiple marketplace platforms including Mirakl channels (Argos, Tesco, Obelink) and standalone European marketplaces like OTTO and Kaufland by completing templates and ensuring product information consistency.
- Create and schedule engaging social media content in line with the Marketing Director's calendar across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Edit and format product photography and graphics by cropping, resizing, and using basic design tools and templates tailored for various platforms.
- Generate weekly reports analyzing performance data from Shopify and social media channels.
- Assist with general marketing tasks such as competitor research, pricing verification, and various ad hoc projects.
Candidate Requirements
- A degree in marketing, digital marketing, business, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- Tech-savviness with ability to quickly learn new software independently.
- Exceptional attention to detail ensuring accurate and error-free product data.
- Strong written English skills suitable for crafting product descriptions and social media posts.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and product data templates.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload proactively without needing constant direction.
Preferred Qualifications
- Creative abilities such as design, photography, or videography sensibilities.
- Experience working with Shopify, Mirakl or Mirakl Connect, and Linnworks platforms.
- Familiarity with European marketplaces such as OTTO and Kaufland.
- Skills in image editing and using social media scheduling tools.
- An interest in applying AI technology to marketing activities.
