Role Overview
As a Digital Marketing Assistant, you will support digital channels including websites, social media, iPad, and mobile platforms in marketing and promotional efforts. Your responsibilities include managing promotional campaigns, liaising with media centers, advertising agencies, media partners, and production companies to coordinate brand communications. You will autonomously prepare profit and loss statements and monitor budgets for selected projects. Working alongside the Marcom manager, you will identify appealing marketing actions and relevant commercial partners. You will coordinate between multiple internal and external stakeholders, such as editorial teams, advertising markets, retail, subscription services, community marketing, and suppliers. Furthermore, you will support marketing activities through reporting, sales data analysis, and other marketing metrics. Daily administration of budget tracking and problem-solving will also be part of your role. Under guidance from Marcom and in collaboration with editorial teams, you will contribute to strengthening magazine results and brand imaging.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate holds a university degree and has up to two years of experience in a digital marketing environment. You are a digital native with a keen understanding of new media including the internet, social networks, mobile, and applications. Your analytical mindset gives you a strong affinity for numbers, and you are comfortable with negotiations, demonstrating clear, reasoned communication. You can manage several tasks simultaneously, delivering work within deadlines. You are dynamic, prioritize effectively, and execute projects independently under Marcom's oversight. Creativity is a strength, enabling you to identify opportunities and present compelling ideas. You enjoy collaborating with both internal and external partners and strive for constructive teamwork. Flexibility, communication skills, and strong organizational abilities are essential. Proficiency in Dutch and English is required.
