Digital Art Illustrator (Senior) - Remote Contractor

Position and Compensation

This is a contractor role for a Senior Digital Art Illustrator, with a payment rate of $8 per hour, working remotely.

Work Commitment

The engagement requires part-time involvement with 40 hours per week expected, including at least 4 hours overlapping with Pacific Standard Time (PST).

Key Responsibilities

• Create stylized digital illustrations based on briefs, ensuring strong composition and consistent visual style.
• Adapt, replicate, and produce various illustration styles and their variants accurately.
• Maintain high-quality outputs focusing on lighting, texture, and overall finish.
• Keep thorough documentation of prompts, stylistic choices, and metadata used in creations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and incorporate feedback constructively.
• Deliver polished, production-ready artwork aligned with project objectives.

Required Qualifications

• Proven professional experience as an illustrator or in a closely related role.
• Robust portfolio demonstrating versatility across several artistic styles.
• Solid understanding of composition, color theory, and lighting principles.
• Capability to paint or render diverse scenes, characters, and environments.
• Skill in accurately replicating multiple art styles.
• Proficiency in industry software such as Adobe Photoshop, Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, Affinity Suite, and Clip Studio Paint.
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail along with strong time management skills.
