Overview
Oxford Pharmacy Store (OPS), a specialized division within Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust, is seeking a dynamic Digital and AI Development Manager to spearhead its digital transformation and innovation initiatives within the healthcare sector. This role involves leading a portfolio of digital projects aligned with the Trust's strategic objectives while fostering the responsible adoption of advanced technologies including artificial intelligence and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the execution of OPS's digital transformation plans, ensuring they align with organizational goals, operational demands, and future expansion.
- Scout, assess, and integrate digital, automated, and AI-driven solutions to enhance efficiency, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, and overall business outcomes.
- Oversee digital project portfolios to ensure timely, budget-conscious, and quality delivery while realizing expected benefits.
- Collaborate extensively with Trust IM&T teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to develop, refine, and optimize digital systems and infrastructure.
- Enhance organizational capabilities in advanced reporting and analytics to support data-informed decision-making and service planning.
- Establish and nurture productive relationships across stakeholders, delivering expert guidance on digital technologies and innovations.
- Uphold stringent digital governance practices, ensuring adherence to NHS standards, information governance, cybersecurity protocols, and Trust policies.
- Continuously monitor emerging digital technologies including AI and automation to identify opportunities for organizational advancement.
Requirements
- Proven ability to translate business needs into effective digital solutions.
- Strong understanding of governance frameworks, information management, and change management methodologies.
- Experience in managing digital project portfolios with a focus on healthcare or related fields preferred.
- Capability to engage with multiple stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
- Passion for innovation, digital transformation, and continuous improvement.
