About Tranzit Group and Role Overview

We invite skilled Diesel Mechanics to join our Auckland workshop team, servicing a varied fleet including both conventional diesel and advanced electric vehicles. This is a prime chance to enhance your technical skills alongside experienced colleagues.
Primary Responsibilities
- Performing routine maintenance and minor repairs to ensure vehicles remain roadworthy.
- Preparing vehicles for Certificate of Fitness (COF) inspections.
- Diagnosing and fixing mechanical issues promptly and effectively.
- Maintaining high safety and quality standards across all tasks.
Qualifications and Experience
- Certified Diesel Mechanic with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, ideally within road transport.
- Strong skills in diagnostics and mechanical repairs.
- Excellent communication abilities and a cooperative team presence.
- Possession of a full New Zealand driver's license, Class 2 or higher is preferred.
