Overview
The Delivery Manager at TechHuman is responsible for leading the full recruitment delivery function focused on sourcing, qualifying, and placing technical contractors and consultants with clients. This position emphasizes ownership and results, targeting excellence in speed, quality, and consistency regarding candidate placements to meet client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment delivery, including intake of requirements, candidate submissions, coordinating interviews, and final placement.
- Lead daily team standup meetings to prioritize active job requisitions and focus on business priorities approaching closure.
- Maintain detailed tracking of open requirements across all clients to ensure alignment of recruitment efforts.
- Evaluate and rank candidate submissions to uphold a high standard before forwarding to the sales team or clients.
- Directly handle placements for complex, specialized, or senior-level technical positions as required.
- Ensure adherence to delivery service level agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate closely with the Business Development team as the primary operational partner, participating in requirement intake and defining candidate profiles and timelines.
- Communicate progress, pipeline status, and potential challenges regularly to the sales team.
- Provide structured candidate packages, including resume reviews and interview preparation, easing sales focus on new acquisition.
- Engage in candidate debriefs and closing discussions alongside sales when necessary.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of technical recruiters with a focus on goal setting, performance metrics related to placements, time-to-fill, and submission quality.
- Train new recruiters on sourcing, candidate evaluation, negotiation, and closing techniques.
- Identify and nurture high performers and expand the recruitment team as needed.
- Create and utilize search tools such as Boolean strings and maintain robust active and passive candidate pipelines.
- Continuously improve sourcing approaches across multiple channels including job boards, referrals, and niche IT communities.
- Drive operational improvements around the delivery model, ATS management, and data integrity.
- Lead trials for new recruitment technologies and tools.
- Report key performance indicators weekly and monthly to executive leadership, tracking metrics like fill rate, time-to-fill, submission ratios, and team productivity.
- Implement operational efficiencies to boost output while preserving quality standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in IT recruitment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing delivery teams.
- Comprehensive knowledge of IT roles, relevant technical skills, and precise candidate qualification expertise.
- Proven ability to manage a high-volume, results-driven recruitment delivery operation.
- Strong hands-on sourcing expertise, including Boolean searching and building passive candidate pipelines.
- Operational insight into process enhancements, accountability mechanisms, and efficiency boosts.
- Experience working closely with sales or business development teams within a staffing environment, understanding the dynamic between sales and delivery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
