Delivery Driver

Overview

Domino's Pizza is recruiting full-time and part-time delivery drivers with flexible working hours that accommodate personal schedules, including school or secondary jobs. Drivers receive daily mileage and tip payments.

Job Summary

As a delivery driver at Domino's in Atmore, AL, you will be delivering pizzas and assisting with various store tasks such as making pizzas, food preparation, cleaning, and inventory management. This role offers opportunities for career progression from delivery driving to management and franchise ownership.

Responsibilities

• Operate store equipment and prepare products.
• Handle telephone orders and complete necessary inventory paperwork.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and the store daily.
• Deliver products to customers promptly while navigating multi-story buildings and diverse terrain.
• Assist with stocking ingredients and food prep as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record according to company standards.
• Access to a fully insured vehicle suitable for delivery.
• Strong navigational skills, able to read maps and locate addresses within delivery zones.
• Basic math abilities including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and handling monetary transactions accurately.
• Good verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers and coworkers.
• Physical capability to carry deliveries, maneuver stairs, and perform repetitive tasks.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Exposure to varied temperatures and occasionally adverse weather conditions.
• Capability to work in confined spaces such as walk-in coolers.
• Handling hot equipment (up to 500°F) and sharp mechanical parts safely.
• Physical activities include standing, walking short distances, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying items, pushing/pulling trays, climbing stairs or ladders, stooping, bending, crouching, and reaching.
• Ability to use computers, calculators, telephones, and other store tools effectively.
