About the role
Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers for a flexible, customer-facing role at its Hedgesville, West Virginia location. The position is a strong fit for someone seeking either a full-time schedule, part-time hours, or extra work alongside another job. The role combines delivery, order handling, product preparation, and store support.
What you’ll do
- Take customer orders in person and by phone, then process them accurately.
- Prepare menu items and support day-to-day food production.
- Replenish ingredients in storage spaces, the production area, and the walk-in cooler.
- Keep equipment and the facility clean every day.
- Distribute marketing materials as needed.
- Communicate clearly and politely with customers and teammates.
- Handle other duties assigned by management.
What is expected
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- A valid driver’s license is required, along with a clean driving history that meets company expectations.
- You need access to a vehicle that is insured and available for delivery use.
- You should be able to read maps, locate addresses, and work within the assigned delivery zone.
- Comfort with stairs, uneven terrain, and multi-story buildings is necessary.
- You must be able to drive in challenging weather, including rain, sleet, snow, high winds, and hail.
- A positive, helpful attitude and the ability to follow Domino’s image and uniform standards are required.
- You should be able to work independently as well as with a team.
- You need to maintain high quality standards, even when the pace is busy.
Essential skills
The role calls for quick and accurate arithmetic, the ability to make correct change, keyboard and touchscreen order entry, strong hand-eye coordination, and the ability to follow instructions and finish tasks on time.
Physical demands
This job involves long periods of standing. Delivery team members are expected to move briskly, or run when it is safe, between the store, the delivery vehicle, and the customer’s location. You may need to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds on rare occasions. Some duties may involve carrying items of different sizes and weights, climbing ladders occasionally for cleaning or maintenance, and moving up and down five or more flights of stairs during deliveries. Bending, crouching, and reaching are common parts of the work.
