Delivery Boy

Job Overview

This role involves ensuring prompt, safe, and precise delivery of products from P&G and Marico to retailers, distributors, and customers, coupled with excellent customer service and strict adherence to company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute deliveries to retailers, distributors, and other designated points according to the set schedule.
• Verify all shipment documentation including invoices and delivery challans before dispatching products.
• Handle loading and unloading operations carefully to avoid product damage.
• Secure customer signatures and acknowledgments upon delivery completion.
• Collect payments, cheques, or returns when required and submit these to the relevant department.
• Follow predetermined delivery routes to ensure timely completion of deliveries.
• Manage product returns, damage reports, and shortages according to company guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the delivery vehicle.
• Promptly report any problems such as delays, accidents, or complaints to management.
• Comply with all traffic safety laws and corporate policies.
• Support warehouse activities including sorting, loading, unloading, and inventory management as needed.

Qualifications

• Completion of 10th or 12th grade education.
• Preferable experience in FMCG deliveries or warehouse operations.
• Possession of a valid two-wheeler or light motor vehicle driving license.
• Basic literacy in English, Hindi, or Gujarati.
