Overview

McKeon's Love Fresh located on Bective Street, Kells, is seeking a full-time Deli Assistant. The primary focus of this role is to produce high-quality hot and cold deli products while prioritizing excellent customer satisfaction.

Candidate Profile

• Having HACCP training is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication abilities are essential.
• Previous experience in customer service provides an advantage.
• Capability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with effective multitasking under pressure.
• Genuine enthusiasm for food and the skill to engage and inspire customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare customer requests spanning all fresh food sections, including assembling sandwiches and rolls, serving hot foods, and slicing meats employing the store's portion control guidelines.
• Cook, prepare, and showcase the foods offered throughout operating hours.
• Maintain the highest standards of counter presentation across all fresh food departments consistently during the day.
• Express passion for quality food by sharing insights, recipes, and personalized suggestions with customers.
• Handle customer inquiries promptly and professionally, adhering to store policies.
• Availability for both weekday and weekend shifts is required.
