JHC Consulting advises a Singapore-based financial services firm undergoing a significant regional expansion. We are looking for a Data Quality Analyst Assistant to join our team in a permanent, full-time, fully remote position. This role centers on scrutinizing data that underpins strategic advice given to our client's board and leadership, emphasizing rigorous data analysis and clear written communication instead of slide decks or formal presentations.

Primary Responsibilities

The key focus of this position is to verify and analyze datasets pertinent to the client’s expansion initiatives. Responsibilities include reviewing internal reports, validating data accuracy, identifying informational gaps, and condensing complex data into concise internal notes. You will support senior consultants by tracing data points to original sources and ensuring the credibility of assumptions used in strategy formulation. Maintaining well-organized digital records of your analyses to aid final memorandum preparation is also required.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's degree in analytically rigorous disciplines such as economics, finance, mathematics, or social sciences. Although this is an entry-level role, intellectual sophistication and excellent written English skills are essential. Basic data interpretation skills and proficiency with analytical tools like spreadsheet software are necessary. The role demands a preference for focused reading and writing over frequent meetings and the ability to work autonomously in a remote environment while reliably meeting deadlines without supervision.
