Role Overview
We are seeking a Data Operations Analyst to join a well-established international music company based in London. This permanent position offers a chance to combine your passion for data analysis with a career in the music industry. You will be part of a collaborative data team supporting high-quality reporting and data accuracy for some of the largest names in global music.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, validate, and reconcile extensive operational and financial datasets.
- Assist with processing and quality assurance of royalty reporting and data.
- Investigate inconsistencies and collaborate with internal teams to resolve data-related issues effectively.
- Respond to queries involving data and provide high-quality stakeholder support.
- Support system testing initiatives, implement reporting enhancements, and help introduce new processes.
- Maintain precise documentation related to processes and data records.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to streamline workflows through automation and improved practices.
- Ensure the reliability and accuracy of reporting systems to meet business needs.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as data science, finance, economics, music, or a similar field.
- Prior experience in data analysis, reporting, financial operations, or administration.
- Experience or strong interest in the music industry, royalties, or digital media is essential.
- Exposure to SQL or enthusiasm for developing technical data skills.
- Advanced Excel proficiency and comfort working with large data sets.
- Analytical mindset with a penchant for detecting data anomalies and problem-solving.
- Strong organizational abilities capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills combined with a collaborative work approach.
