This role is integral to our Artificial Intelligence & Data Team, dedicated to advancing innovation through data-driven solutions. As a Data Architect, you will help design and implement advanced data architectures across sectors, harnessing cutting-edge technologies and global expertise. This position offers opportunities for project leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and professional growth in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan, architect, and oversee the implementation of scalable data models and solutions using a blend of open source and proprietary tools.
- Create detailed technical designs and architectural frameworks for data storage and management aligned with organizational standards.
- Incorporate robust data security and integrity measures within architecture designs.
- Lead and mentor data analysts and engineers to ensure alignment with target architectures and successful delivery.
- Collaborate closely with various segments of Deloitte's Technology and Transformation division to synchronize data capabilities with overall business objectives.
- Handle client relationships across industries, fostering trust and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Guide junior team members by aligning their roles with career development goals and providing coaching.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing and delivering complex data-driven projects, with the ability to inspire and direct teams effectively.
- Strong proficiency in stakeholder engagement, including influencing senior leadership and advising using industry best practices.
- Practical commercial experience in information and data management, proficient with enterprise-grade data architecture technologies such as Cloudera CDP, Azure Databricks, and cloud-native platforms.
Work Location and Environment
This position is primarily located in Dublin or Cork, offering a flexible hybrid working model combining office presence and client site visits. Compensation and Benefits
The starting salary for this role is €90,000, with adjustments based on experience and expertise.
