Role Overview
We are searching for a Data Analyst who is enthusiastic about game economies to join our team. This position focuses on examining player data, refining our in-game economy, and generating insights to support the sustainable growth and enjoyment of our game Grimguard.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine gameplay data to decode player behavior, evaluate monetization trends, and assess the health of the game's economy.
- Work closely with the design team to implement, fine-tune, and balance economy-related game features.
- Create dashboards and reports tracking key performance indicators that guide enhancements in game progression, retention, and revenue generation.
- Design and analyze A/B tests and other experimental data initiatives to optimize gameplay elements and monetization tactics.
- Transform intricate data sets into clear, practical insights and provide actionable recommendations to boost player engagement and satisfaction.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
- Proven track record as a Data Analyst, preferably with experience in gaming or digital economy sectors.
- Skilled in SQL and proficient with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker, along with programming languages like Python or R for data analysis.
- Strong analytical aptitude with an understanding of player psychology and foundational game design theories.
- Excellent communicative abilities to articulate data insights effectively to varied stakeholders.
