Role Overview

• Collaborate with business and product teams to formulate key questions, design robust analyses, and interpret data with rigorous statistical methods, focusing on initiatives like the Broker Quoting Tool and Embedded Finance.
• Employ hypothesis-based approaches to validate assumptions, eliminate unlikely explanations, and develop ongoing, contextual business insights surpassing basic AI-driven queries.
• Produce impactful analytical work that informs decisions and deepens team understanding beyond routine reporting or dashboard creation.
• Promote an experimentation culture by framing decisions as testable hypotheses, tracking outcomes, and building a cumulative evidence base across projects.
• Lead the entire hypothesis-driven analysis process, partnering with Data Engineering to utilize governed semantic data layers instead of redundant data preparation.
• Coordinate with the Data Architecture & Strategy Lead to align analytical efforts with strategic priorities.

Candidate Profile

• Proficient in hypothesis-driven analysis, experimental design, and statistical interpretation, discerning true significance and data limitations.
• Experienced in collaborating with business or product stakeholders on complex, open-ended challenges linked to real initiatives rather than routine reports.
• Comfortable with SQL and using governed semantic or data layers such as dbt and Databricks, enabling independent data retrieval without frequent engineering dependence.
• Possesses a builder’s mindset to accumulate and document insights for long-term knowledge preservation.
• Excellent communication skills for translating complex analyses into actionable recommendations for diverse audiences.
• Background in fintech, lending, or financial services is advantageous.
