Role Overview

Candid Health is looking to hire a Data Analyst to drive improvements in efficiency, scalability, and decision-making operations. This position focuses on conducting pivotal analyses and developing data-driven strategies that empower engineering, product, and leadership teams to create transformative healthcare software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive data analysis across diverse stakeholder needs, creating analytics and visualizations tailored to multiple applications.
• Develop internal self-service tools and operational workflows aimed at improving team autonomy and efficiency.
• Design scalable, robust data models that deliver substantial value to clients.
• Manage and maintain business intelligence platforms ensuring data accuracy, accessibility, and availability.

Prerequisites

• A bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, or any data-focused discipline such as Library Science.
• Over four years of experience managing large-scale data operations including analysis, ETL processes, and automation.
• Minimum of three years utilizing common data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL used in complex data environments.
• Demonstrated capability to understand diverse users to tailor insights and tools effectively.
• Ability to thrive amidst ambiguity and tackle impactful, complex business challenges.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts clearly both verbally and in writing.
• Experience or familiarity with technologies such as Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery), Metabase, Terraform, Python, and DBT.

Compensation Details

The expected annual salary range is between $135,000 and $180,000 USD. This estimate serves as a guideline, with actual offers adjusted based on qualifications, skills, interview results, and market conditions. The total remuneration package may also include equity and benefits.
